Ta'talu Elementary School is an innovative educational facility located in the booming Grandview Heights area of Surrey. As the District's first three-story elementary school, it provides learning spaces for 575 students in grades 1-7 and 80 kindergarteners. The school comprises two three-story stacks of learning neighborhoods located on the building's east and west ends, each consisting of four to five classrooms that open onto a project space. The center of the building houses all shared program spaces, including the learning commons, multi-purpose room, administration areas, and gym, which are connected to the learning neighborhoods via a central atrium.
