DGS Construction is a family-owned and operated contractor specializing in the construction of educational, childcare, recreational, and other public sector facilities throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver. Our roots in the construction industry date back to 1960, beginning with our grandfather Angelo Rossi, continuing with Dennis and George Rossi in 1983, and evolving again in 2021 with the transition to third-generation ownership.
Today, DGS is led by Daniel and Mitch Rossi, who grew up in the business and continue to take a hands-on approach to every project. Their leadership reflects the same values that have defined DGS for generations - quality workmanship, accountability, and strong, lasting relationships.
At DGS, our greatest asset is our people. Many of whom have been with us for decades - and in some cases, are part of families that have worked with DGS for generations. That kind of continuity is rare in this industry, and it speaks to the loyalty, culture, and values we’ve worked hard to maintain as a family-run business.
Our team includes a diverse mix of experienced project managers, site superintendents, Red Seal journeyman carpenters, first aid, equipment operators and skilled labourers, each bringing specialized knowledge in formwork, concrete finishing, civil works, and rough/ finish carpentry. Every person at DGS plays an essential role, and their expertise is what drives our reputation for quality and reliability.
